STRATEGIES AND COMPETENCIES FOR THE COLLEGE-UNIVERSITY TRANSITION
This project consists of organizing training workshops on wellness and educational success that will be offered to college students wishing to go to university so that their transition is smooth and positive. These workshops will present various scientific theories and strategies promoting wellness and academic success, such as the science of sleep, managing negative thoughts, exam anxiety, healthy habits, effective notetaking, time planning, realistic goal setting, strategies to overcome procrastination, etc.

Jean-François Chapman, a Sociology teacher at Cégep de l’Outaouais, with the collaboration of the members of PESO’s Transition and Gateways Committee representing Cégep de l’Outaouais, Cégep Heritage College, and UQO.
