Description

The creaLAB Club gives students opportunities to develop their creativity, autonomy and business sense in an innovative and stimulating environment conducive to developing digital skills. It may also foster motivation and academic perseverance in some students. The creaLAB Club helps better equip students to take on the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), as artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, 3D printing and more are expected to become even bigger parts of our work and personal lives.

Club activities are held in the Fab Lab Outaouais, in CÉGEP de l’Outaouais’ LABoite, but also occasionally at CÉGEP Heritage College and UQO. Led by Fabrique Mobile’s qualified staff, it offers creative students from the three higher education institutions the opportunity to gather in a space that encourages collaboration and provides access to digital technology experts. Students can carry out projects that spark their interest and even consider starting their own small business, knowing they also have the option of receiving support from LABoite, CÉGEP de l’Outaouais’ business incubator. The club aims to welcome 15 to 20 students weekly but is open to greater participation. In short, the creaLAB Club is a creative project incubator open to innovative students!
