Description

This project consists of organizing an exhibition of museum-calibre posters on current social action issues produced by students in the Graphic Design program at the École multidisciplinaire de l’Image (ÉMI). The exhibition will be promoted through a website that will be the subject of a contest in one of the Multimedia Integration courses at Cégep de l’Outaouais. Multimedia Integration students will consolidate their competencies by creating websites, while UQO students will develop theirs by producing posters and interacting with aspiring web professionals. All of them will also participate in developing the exhibition that will take place in both institutions afterwards.

UQO students will have the opportunity to experience project management, and Cegep students will be able to explore the academic world of UQO, which will increase the chances of enrolment in various programs at ÉMI (Graphic Design, Museology, etc.).

We hope that this project will also foster an entrepreneurial culture, as well as student motivation and retention.
