Description
This project consists of organizing an IoT event entitled the Internet of Things Challenge in the Outaouais. During this event, using the internet, participants will have one weekend to design an energy autonomous object while taking into account cybersecurity.
The teams will be heterogeneous (inter-institutional, including all levels of electrical engineering and computer science), simulating a work environment consisting of people with different competencies.
Participants will have to demonstrate leadership and efficiency in order to find a solution to the problem that will be submitted to them in order to solve it within the given timeframe of one weekend.
This event will also be an opportunity to promote the computer science and electronics programs offered at the Cegeps and at UQO. Companies and organizations working in IoT-related fields will also be invited to participate in the evaluation of design projects.
The event will then be held each year on one of the campuses of the three institutions.
