To enrich the student experience

Reimagining Allyship through Collaborative Learning

Description

This project aims to strengthen the capacity of faculty to advance equity, diversity, inclusion, and indigenization in higher education. Specifically, the project involves co-creating open-access bilingual curricula based on the experiences of BIPOC* individuals in classrooms, workplaces, and communities in the Outaouais region.

This project will have a two-fold impact on students. On the one hand, it will help BIPOC students feel seen and heard; on the other hand, it will help non-BIPOC students learn to connect and act as allies of the BIPOC community.

*BIPOC: (Black, Indigenous, and people of colour).
